Rule Changes

From time to time it is necessary for the good and correct running of the games of Billiards and Snooker for the rules to be examined in detail and where necessary modifications made.

A committee, selected from those referees appointed by World Snooker as being of such standard and with such knowledge, as being able to interpret the rules for the good of the games, will meet as required in order to make such amendments and changes.

The World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association (WPBSA), the owners of the copyright © for the rules of Billiards and Snooker have announced a number of changes to the Rules of Snooker and Billiards from those contained in the rule book published on the 3rd May 2011.
